What I did like about it was how it showed a young, immature Christian becoming stronger in their faith and how God can use each of us with all of our failings to accomplish His will and purposes. In this age of mixology trendiness, there is a lot of poorly written and pompous stuff passing for "cocktail scholarship. This book had good potential but kept letting me down. But the instant they see each other again, the years blow away like ashes in the heat of their combustible chemistry. For younger readers, this might not really be the best example to follow, although a certain degree of assertiveness is good.
